Will the paint fit?
Never ask that question again with the Freak. Instead, ask which insert you should use. Paint varies. So we made a system that adapted to the paintball, not the other way around. One barrel, eight bore sizes. Buy a tiny ball: we have a .679 insert. Medium ball: be happy with the .689. Buy big or just leave paint in the sun all day: we have .695. Freak inserts are subjected to the same rigorous honing and hardcoat anodizing as all Smart Parts barrels. They are held to strict tolerances to make sure your .684 is just that, not smaller or larger. That goes for Stainless Steel inserts, too. Stainless steel inserts are stronger and hone to a slightly smoother finish, giving you one more option in the Freak line. We’ve even started making an even larger bore insert, the .697, for the biggest paintball you can find. With nine insert sizes: .679, .682, .684, .687, .689, .691, .693, .695 and .697 you’ll always have the right insert for any paint.

The total solution.
Total Freak Kits are available in both the original Aluminum inserts and the new, stronger and smoother Stainless Steel inserts. Both come in the distinctive and protective Freak case which holds eight inserts, Freak front and back. There’s even room for a fresh barrel condom and a few o-ring kits (sold separately). No matter which kit you choose, all inserts fit all backs and all backs fit all fronts.

Note:  This is the single bore insert for the barrel.  Select the bore size the corresponds to the size of the paint you use.  Make sure you also purchase the front section and the back section that fits the threads of your gun.  (Example: If you have a Spyder, make sure you select the back with Spyder threads.)
