Personality conflict.
It’s not like the others. It doesn’t even know its own identity. One day it’s 14 inches with a .689 aluminum bore, the next day 18 inches with a stainless steel .693 bore. And without warning the Freak can change identity, personality, even its mood. Its ability to change, however, is its greatest ally. The Freak barrel is the most versatile barrel in paintball. That’s because it is not just a barrel, but a barrel system. The Freak gives you, the player, the ability to never be let down by your barrel, your paint or both. Between performance and price, the only excuse you’re left with is your crummy teammates.

3 pieces is better.
Front, back, insert. The Freak is comprised of these simple components. The options they contain, however, are anything but simple. The heart of the Freak barrel, the insert, has more choices than ever. The Freak front is available in two styles, five lengths and six colors. The Freak Aluminum back, available in black, is the standard insert cradling back of the line. The Stainless Steel back is quite a bit sexier than standard black and a whole lot more shiny. For total performance and looks, try a stainless steel back with stainless steel inserts and a matching All-American front. You won’t look like a Freak with style like that, but you will perform like one. And that’s a very good thing.

In one there are many.
One Freak system gives you almost unlimited options. Pick your length, style, marker type and color. The Freak is available with two different fronts: the original tournament-winning All-American and the proven alternative, the Freak (teardrop). Either will provide you the first shot accuracy you so desperately need in the competitive paintball world. Both fronts are available in multiple lengths as well. The Freak offers 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 inch lengths in the teardrop style and 12, 14, 16 and 18 inch lengths in the All-American. And with the super easy thread design, interchanging fronts to fit the situation is a breeze.

Will the paint fit?
Never ask that question again with the Freak. Instead, ask which insert you should use. Paint varies. So we made a system that adapted to the paintball, not the other way around. One barrel, eight bore sizes. Buy a tiny ball: we have a .679 insert. Medium ball: be happy with the .689. Buy big or just leave paint in the sun all day: we have .695. Freak inserts are subjected to the same rigorous honing and hardcoat anodizing as all Smart Parts barrels. They are held to strict tolerances to make sure your .684 is just that, not smaller or larger. That goes for Stainless Steel inserts, too. Stainless steel inserts are stronger and hone to a slightly smoother finish, giving you one more option in the Freak line. We’ve even started making an even larger bore insert, the .697, for the biggest paintball you can find. With nine insert sizes: .679, .682, .684, .687, .689, .691, .693, .695 and .697 you’ll always have the right insert for any paint.

The total solution.
Total Freak Kits are available in both the original Aluminum inserts and the new, stronger and smoother Stainless Steel inserts. Both come in the distinctive and protective Freak case which holds eight inserts, Freak front and back. There’s even room for a fresh barrel condom and a few o-ring kits (sold separately). No matter which kit you choose, all inserts fit all backs and all backs fit all fronts.

Note:  This is just the back piece of the barrel.  Make sure that this will fit the threads of your gun.  (Example: If you have a Spyder, make sure you select the back with Spyder threads.)
